Best friends since high school, Matt & Liza have come full circle. Family is at the center of all they do, including running their business. Because as the premier luxury builder in the fabled Carolinas, they understand that family is the foundation of everything. After college and marrying in 2020, Matt & Liza are now the proud parents of baby Austin, along with two dogs and a cat.

Working in the family business is definitely a labor of love, and one they hope to pass along to the next generation. Today, this dynamic young duo continues to carry the legacy of the Dillard-Jones brand and all it stands for… old-world craftsmanship, uncompromising quality, and a timeless style that is as uniquely Southern as a palmetto in the moonlight.

Meet Matt

Matt was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina. He earned a degree in business from The Citadel and has a solid background in the construction industry. His roots in this profession trace back to his early years when his father, Tom, founded Dillard-Jones in 2003.

In his leisure time, Matt enjoys outdoor activities and frequently finds himself at the family farm in the company of his wife Liza, their daughter, Austin, and their two loyal canine companions.

Meet Liza

Liza is a native of Greer, South Carolina, who discovered her career path at Sewanee – the University of the South, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Since 2018, she’s been a dedicated member of the Dillard-Jones family of companies, contributing her expertise and passion.

Outside of work, she values time with loved ones, finds peace through yoga, enjoys nature, and appreciates gourmet cuisine.

Meet Andy

Introducing Andy, a seasoned custom home builder with 20+ years in the industry. Following a successful 15-year career in architectural firms, he’s masterminded the construction of 75+ luxury homes in the Carolinas’ most coveted neighborhoods.

Beyond his professional life, Andy is a passionate University of South Carolina supporter, happily married for over 30 years, and a proud parent of two wonderful children. He’s also recently embraced the joys of being a grandparent, adding even more depth of joy and happiness to his life.

Meet Doug

Meet Doug, a seasoned builder and remodeler with a degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University. After an impressive 28 years in the construction field, Doug and his wife decided to relocate to the Upstate area from Greensboro, NC, where they raised their three children.

Outside of the construction world, Doug’s heart lies in supporting his Clemson Tigers in various sports, creating fun memories with his beautiful family, and enjoying the company of his playful beagles.

Meet Dillon

Dillon Lettieri, based in Arden, NC, is a Senior Project Manager at Cottage Group. With a BA in Project Management from Florida Tech, Dillon’s passion for building stems from his family’s construction background on Long Island, where he helped build unique homes. He enjoys the challenge of constructing luxury homes on difficult terrain, supported by a fantastic team that shares his vision.

Married to his wife Malani for ten years, Dillon has a daughter, Jalina, who turns five in August. In his free time, he loves cooking for friends and family, enjoying gatherings with good food, good people, and good drinks.

Meet Josh

Josh, a project manager with roots in Brevard, NC, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, is known for his incredible work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.

In August 2020, he and his wife Alyssa celebrated their wedding, coincidentally sharing the special day with Matt and Liza. Their joy multiplied in February 2023 with the arrival of their baby girl, Corrine.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca is our talented Interior Designer at Cottage Group, where she has been creating stunning interiors for almost two years. With a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design, her expertise spans drafting for architects, selecting finishes, designing cabinetry, and project managing home renovations.

Rebecca is passionate about the collaborative spirit of our team and loves building beautiful homes while having fun. In her free time, she enjoys exploring cities, touring historic homes, binge-watching her favorite TV shows, and spending quality time with her little Maltipoo, Lacey.

Meet Cindy

Cindy, a Washington, D.C. native, is our admin extraordinaire, in charge of overseeing the seamless functioning of our operations. Armed with a degree in Business Administration, she stands as the cornerstone of our team.

During her downtime, she enjoys shopping, hiking, and spending time with her one-year-old feline companion, Disco.
